Welcome to our Mad March beer festival. There are 11 unique and crazy beers (some more crazy than others) to try.
There will be third pint glasses available in order to try all the beers including the strong speciality beers.
I hope you all try everything and enjoy the beer!

Red Squirrel             Hopfest                   3.8%            Pale
Light golden ale with a floral/citrus aroma and elderflower notes.

Brentwood                Chestnut Stout       3.9%            Black
A black session stout with a big mouth feel for the ABV.
Some roasted malt flavours with hints of coffee and chocolate.

Brodies                      Amarilla                4.2%             Pale
A pale ale mainly featuring the American hop ‘Amarillo’.
Strong grapefruit on the nose with a particularly assertive bitter finish. Dry hopped in cask.

Marble                      Best                        4.3%             Brown
A traditional best bitter with a modern twist. A copper/brown colour and extremely bitter.
Dry hopped in cask and featuring the kiwi hop Riwaka (aroma) and the U.S. cascade hop (bittering)

Downton                   Mad Hair               4.4%             Brown
A copper coloured beer with spicy aromas balanced by a rich hoppy flavour.
Brewed using: Pale, chocolate, and roasted barley malts; Mittlefruh and Challenger hops;
and a unique blend of ginger, lemongrass and coriander.

Magic Rock             Rapture                  4.6%              Brown
A hoppy red beer. 5 types of malt and 6 types of hops make for a truly elating experience.
Uplifting aromas of grapefruit and pine, combine with a pithy orange and pronounced citrus flavour
which is balanced against a deeply rich and malty body. A satisfyingly dry and crisp finish offers your taste buds redemption.

1648                          Smoked Ale           4.7%              Brown
A deep  dark amber in colour beer with an unusual blend of smoked malted barley
which is most commonly found in the German style, rauchbier.

Dark Star                 Black Coffee Pilsner  4.8%        Black
A dark lager, brewed with imported Czech malt, hops from the Zatec region and a traditional Czech yeast strain.
The natural coffee flavours characteristic of these malts is enhanced by the addition of coffee beans after fermentation.

Raw/Steel                 R/S Aussie IPA      6.2%             Strong/Pale
A collaboration brew with Steel City Brewing of Sheffield this is an intense hoppy deep golden IPA.
Powerful smooth bitterness with a lingering finish an IPA that requires a little respect.

Arbor                       Breakfast Stout     7.4%              Black
This is a seriously big beer. It is black and extremely complex, a perfect example of a breakfast stout.
It contains lots of oats, speciality German grains, Brazilian Santo coffee beans and organic raw cacao nibs.

Arbor                       500 Minute IPA    10.7%             Strong/Amber
This is insanity in beer form. To celebrate their 500th brew, Arbor ales decided to continuously hop this Imperial IPA for 500 minutes.
It has a bitter rating of 500 IBU’s which is extreme and should be experienced carefully, we suggest a third.
The sheer logistics of such a brew would suggest a beer like this will not be made very often.
