'Have I got Beers for You' Beer Festival Jan 26th to 28th 2012 Beer List

Kissingate ‘Black Cherry Mild En Plus’ 4.2%  Black Cherry 'En Plus' is a full and flavoursome dark mild. Extra additions of real black cherries, Amaretto Brandy and muscovado deepen the body and flavours of this award-winning ale.

Thornbridge ‘Brother Rabbit’ 4%  An early spring ale. Hopped with three classic American hops: Cascade, Chinook and Centennial. Gold in colour with tropical fruits and orange sherbet dominating the aroma. Medium body with a clean bitterness to balance.

Brodie’s ‘Hackney Red IPA’ 6.1%  Deep ruby red West Coast IPA. Amarillo, Columbus and Citra hops. This beer has been brewed before but this is the first batch to feature the addition of RYE malt to the beer.

Bristol Beer Factory ‘Virtue’ 4.2%  A red bitter featuring traditional English and new world hop varieties. Aroma of caramel, berry fruits and some leafy hops. the flavour begins with some sweetness, before more fruit and some nuttiness comes in. A lingering bitter finish.

RedemptionHope Special Rum Porter’ 5.8%  Dark brown colour with chocolate, coffee, liquorice and some dry roasted malts flavours complimented with hints of dark fruit. Generous late hopping adds a hint of zest and the initial sweetness fades into a restrained bitter finish. We love our rum at the Hope, so as a festival treat a generous helping of dark navy rum has been added to the cask to infuse with the beer.

HardKnott ‘Continuum’ 4%  Citrus and dark berries on the nose with lots of lemon and blackcurrant flavours with a large and long lasting bitter finish. Chestnut brown in colour.

Magic Rock ‘High Wire’ 5.5%  A tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers which are unapologetically hop forward in character. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a bitter finish.

Buxton ‘Moor Tap’ 3.6%  Hopped with armfuls of American Chinook hops, this beer oozes citrus flavour and aroma. It has a lovely sweetness balanced with a lingering bitter finish backed up with a late grapefruit hit.

Buxton ‘Spa’ 4.1%  A light, refreshing, hoppy pale ale. A showcase for the incredibly aromatic North American Citra hop. It has a lovely citrus aroma, with juicy fruit flavours in the mouth. Medium bitterness.

Saltaire ‘Cream Stout’ 4%  Black in colour. A deliciously smooth, full bodied, silky stout with balanced roast flavours and a hint of sweetness. This beer contains Lactose.

Brodie’s ‘Stepney Green Steam beer’ 4.4%  A golden ale brewed with lager yeast at 18 degrees in order to achieve a very clean drinking taste. It is bittered with the North American hop Magnum, while Centennial hops are used for the beer's grapefruit-like aromatics. This beer has also been ‘Dry Hopped’ in the cask with large handfuls of Centennial hops
