Welcome to the Hope's first beer festival of 2013 and the first since the addition of our new conservatory. There are beers of all styles from all across the country. Collaboration brews, new breweries and exotic key keg beers. We hope you try and enjoy everything, remember thirds of a pint are available! Enjoy! Cheers!

The Kernel ‘London Stout’ 6.8% Brewed
in collaboration with the London Brewers Alliance (over 15 breweries
represented) about four months ago.
Recipe was based on a 1925 Export Brown Stout, from Barclay Perkins and was particularly distinct (in a London style) through the use of a small amount of oats, and the use of black malt in the boil.
Ascot ‘Winter Reserve Bourbon Barrel Age’ 7% A dark tawny red ale. This beer has spent the best part of a year in a bourbon barrel. Expect a balance of rich winter warming flavours with an oaky, whiskey after taste
Magic Rock ‘Bearded Lady’ 10.5% Masses of magical malts to deliver deep chocolate, rich coffee and vinous berry flavours all complimented by a balanced yet subtly spicy hop profile. Powerful, robust, intriguing; yet decadently smooth and sumptuous, the lady demands respect…
The Kernel 'Citra IPA' 6.7% Citra hops meet English malt. Burnished golden colour. Aromas of tropical fruits, hints of grass. The sweetness of the malt gives the impression of fruit salad on the palate. Juicy, then followed up with a big bitterness, with some pepper and spice.Brodie's 'Cranberry IPA' 7% Big American style IPA. Hugely dry hopped with lots of American hops to give a huge tropical-citrus aroma! Additions of Cranberry to the brew to give a deep red/pink colour to the beer.
